New to Group

Hi, my name is Kim.  I'm a 35 yr old mother of 3, ages 3, 11, and 13.  At 5'7" and 225, I'm concerned that I may have issues getting pregnant again.  225 is where my weight has pretty much been since I was pregnant with my 3 yr old and it's the heaviest I've ever been.  Seems I just got bigger and bigger with each pregnancy.  I always managed to lose weight (with some struggle) afterwards, but haven't been able to this last time.  My husband and I are really wanting one more, but sometimes it's really hard to want to try when I don't feel good about myself, and then the concerns of being heavy while pregnant.  I'm just glad to see that there is a group of women to talk to and be able to relate to.

All of my past pregnancies went relatively smoothly.  I didn't start having any problems until I had my Mirena removed this past July.  Now I'm having problems with ovarian cysts and having to go back on b/c to try to shrink them.  Guess that just gives me a few months to try to get healthier before we start trying again, right?

Hi there,

My name is Lori, I am 30 weeks pregnant, 5'10" and 329 but my weight was 323. When I first started TTC i was not having but a few periods a year and weighed in at 377 pounds. Was told i have pcos and put on metformin and a low carb diet. I was put on provera to get my period than the metformin took over and regulated my cycles.  It took me 18 months of TTC while walking and eating low carb diet with metformin to get pregnant but worth every bit of the work since I have a little girl due Dec 13th who the dr said might be coming the beginning of Dec.

I have major munchies issues right now, i have been putting on to much weight the last few weeks of the pregnancy, afraid the dr will yell at me on Wens when i go in for my appointment. :)

Hello,

My DH and I are just starting TTC!  I am 5' 3'' and 235 lbs....YIKES

This is not my heaviest.  I am concerned about being this big while preggers too!
I am taking clomid and needed provera just to get a period!  I am working on loosing the weight. and I smoke so I need to quit

This month was the first period in over a year so I had some major PMS munchies!  whew, I didn't gain any weight but man I ate horribly!

I hope I get preg this month but I will for sure be OK if i don't because I can use that time to get on a better eatting patern and work out.  My only problem is, i work 7 days a week at 11 hours a day!
