upper right pain

I was recently diagnosed with Intercostal Neuralgia - caused by my job and lots of strenguous work - it is the nerve that comes from the back and shoots through under the lower rib cage; i have suffered for 4 years with this.  It doesn't show up in any tests such as ultrasound.  i narrowed down all the possibilities - cleansing, etc. so now i just have to worry about how to heal this.  so far, nobody seems to know much about it; i have been using Dr Reckewegs combintion of arsenicum, colocyuthis, ranuculus & rhus tox - this can be made up at a homeopath supply store or ordered by health food stores.  Some of the articles concerningReckeweg will explain that you have to start eliminating each problem one at a time - although i didn't know this until now, i was fortunate to have done this by cleaning up each organ.  the other thing to look for is someone with a bioressonance diagnostic machine - it will analyze all your organs and at least give you a start on what to look for/or fix first.  good luck to all, i still have a way to go but at least i am on the right track..

Have you tried googling your condition to find support groups for this?  They might have ideas for good physicians to see that will help you with this problem.  It's just an idea.  I have a somewhat rare condition called a dysautonomia, and through an online support group I was able to find a list of doctors that treat this which was great.

Over the past 4 years I have tried numerous doctors; my family physician of course, 3 gastroentrologists, 1 urologist, 1 liver specialist, 5 naturopaths, 2 osteopaths, 3 chiropractors, 7 massage therapists, plus others, etc.  I spend over $5000/year to try to find out my problems.  Most of the specialists told me it was my liver or that it was all in my head and I should see a psychiatrist - so I was trying to combat that angle; now I find out that it is intercostal neuralgia along with bacterial infection that nobody knows about.  I am happy to find this out but I haven't found anyone who can help me yet.  I believe one of the osteopaths and my acupuncturist will be able to help.  Thank you for your support and for this web site, it helps

Welcome to the gastroenterology community!  While I don't know anything about intercostal neuralgia, after researching it on the internet, it seems as if you are not following the recommended treatment for this.  I would recommend finding a doctor that knows about this and is willing to help you with this and help you work through a treatment.  I would not recommend self treating this condition as you could cause yourself problems.  Good luck.
