MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello.

You have described getting angry and then coming back to normal. It would be important to know if you have phases when you get sad and depressed as well. Your symptoms do need careful evaluation by a mental health professional. There are specific criteria for a particular disorder to be diagnosed. Your doctor will be able to evaluate you better.

Another aspect of the situation you need to consider is to see if your relationship issues are deep seated and need to be addressed separately. It may appear that the anger is causing problems in the relationship, but it could the other way, too.

I suggest you contact a psychiatrist and/or a psychotherapist. This could be something you can sort out with therapy.

Best Regards

Thanks for responding. Yes, sometimes I get depress I would go into an isolating phase  where I just want to be by myself for a couple of hours. I would start crying and than I'm o.k. Let me tell you a little bit about me I'm 38yrs.old female with end stage sarcoidosis needs a bilateral lung transparent. I have two teens in college doing well. My husband is standing by myside now since I've became sick. In the past I've found that's on my  out he had an affair on me about 4-6 yrs. I didn't have a clue this was going on; My sarcoidosis was in remission since 96 do to all the stress it came out and went to end stage sarcoidosis. I never told him he was the cause of it but he do feel guilty. Yes, I did forgive him and thank god our relationship is much stronger. But I can't let go of the past and it's eating me up in the inside. Oh, yeah I have a parent who's an alcohollic with demntia and refuse my help she says the most awful things about me that's not true; I have no room in my plate anymore I don't know what to do? Please help me
