Hello,
What you are having is shaving bumps due to folliculitis. Folliculitis and ingrown hair are common after shaving. If you still want to go in for shaving, then apply cold compresses(ice cubes wrapped in a towel) on the rash and take some antihistaminic like benadryl or claritin. You can also apply calamine lotion on the rash. It will help in soothing the skin. A mild corticosteroid cream will also help.
Also you can go in for laser hair removal which causes permanent reduction of hair and does not cause folliculitis also. Please consult a good cosmetologist/dermatologist for that.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
i live in MS and there are a lots of bug here...i got mosquito bite and flea all over the grass during the summer, but now it's winter and less bugs... but i have itches all over my legs, and between calfs and arms...moist...kinda weird but especially at nights, it's occuring mostly night time when i go sleep...i would scratch and apply cream but nothing helps... it's been over a month now.... no other symptoms, except i see tiny red mark like the bite of a mosquito or flea, but there are no bugs around now and no bite, just itchy on my legs....
