How long as everyone got left or have you had your december baby???

Hi ladies,
              Just wondering how long you all have left my due date is in 12 days  eeek!! Or maybe youve had you december baby if so was you early, on time or late and by how much? x

Well we are due in 11 days but went to doc today and things seem to be moving along so he set up apt to be back on thursday if I dont go before then at that apt we will talk bout induction I really wanted him to hold off comming this week but with the contractions and back pain he can come when ever everyone is thinking he will come wed on my birthday thats a way to spend the day in labor but well worth it so good luck everyone and ill continue to check in on all of you in case I am not on Happy Holidays to all of you and ur families

We're having a girl! Hope it goes well.. 10days till due and cant wait to see if we can VBAC!!

My 1st was 8lb half 0z caralea, managed with just gas and air im sure youl be fine lol. boys tend to be a little longer and heavier than girls ( not sure what your having ) x

Had my 39 week appointment today.  She did a sweep, or at least attempted one, don't know if it was successful or not because she was already talking induction and I was focused on that.  She said do to being full-term, everything looking good, and considering all my kidney complications that we could go ahead and consider induction for 40 weeks!  I am scheduled to go in for induction early in the morning on Tuesday the 21st... unless baby girl has another plan and wants to come earlier! :o)  Yay!

that's fantastic you have an OB who is that respectful of the normal process of childbirth.
i couldn't find one around here but was fortunate enough to find a midwife run birth center instead.
i will only be induced if i go over 43 weeks, there are signs of fetal distress or i develop pre-eclampsia....

OB appt and NST today. All is well with Baby...yeah! But I am showing no signs of labor. I don't want to be induced, but out of curiosity I asked my OB when they would talk induction. He said they view that as a last resort and will not discuss until the end of the second week in January. OMG! I would be well into my 43 week by then. I'm glad my OB is not quick to use interventions, but I didn't expect him to wait that long. Hmmm...at least Baby is well. That's all that really matters.

Okay, girls...ball is in your court! Who will be next?

I seen my midwife to day, here is my update:

Baby MarLea has moved in the pelvic bone, thank gosh!! The midwife is a little concerned on how big she is getting, her guess if she had one- is she may end up being in the low 8lb range!!! YIKES. My son was only 6lbs 14oz... and he was born via c-sec. What is an 8 pounder going to feel like for a VBAC???

BP was normal, no sugar/protein in urin, HR 140, lost 1lb from the 4lbs I gained with the other midwife last week.

Going to speak to a lactation specialist tomorrow about my concerns on breastfeeding.

Hope I get some good answers and this baby has better luck!!

Been to see the midwife today and little miss is now engaged and accoridng to alot of research 2/5 is a good thing? i was getting a little confused as to how its worked out but if 5/5 isnt engaged then 4/5 is a little bit then 3/5 is a little bit more im not far off at alll being 2/5!!  Come on lady i wanna meet u now!!!

Planning to ask my Ob for a sweep tomorrow at my appointment (why am I nervous about asking this?  I am 39 weeks!  I feel like she might say "no." But why am I so hesitant to ask? lol  If the baby isn't ready it won't work anyway, right?  I am such a wimp sometimes :o)  

Then the kids go for their holiday week daddy visit and it. is. on. lol  Saturday I will be walking, doing "the deed" lol, taking a bath in the clary sage oil I bought, and if I can get my hands on the evening primrose and raspberry tea I will start using them, too!!  Then it will be time for DH to start massaging the "labor inducing pressure points" hehe...I will try it all (except castor oil... no way... ew! haha)  Anything to get this baby on the go in the next week so DH can actually be in the labor room with me instead of caring for my other two little ones since we don't have anyone to help with that after Christmas Eve

i'm stil here unfortunately.  labor officially stalled and we are just waiting for it to restart.  i think she got cold feet (it is rather freezing outside) :)

10 days left. Just started having minor, irregular contractions, which I only feel in my lower back (despite the fact that Baby is positioned well and not touching my spine). We are talking perhaps 3 contractions in an hour and then nothing for the rest of the day. Walking has become a bit painful in my pelvic area. Otherwise...nothing! OB appt and weekly non-stress test tomorrow. I truly think Caralea, Jenna_Lenni and myself will be the last ones standing. I just hope we don't have to be induced. I know Caralea wants her VBAC, and I just want to avoid the intervention and long wait! At this point, I will admit, I am sooooo curious if I will be welcoming Team Blue or Team Pink!

I am due in 16days.. but so far- she isn't on track to be born early or before the EDD 12/30.
I know she is head down, but she has not made it into the pelvic bone- I think she is getting closer, as I have noticed more pressure when I walk, or I should say waddle.

I have an appointment on Thursday and hope to get good news!!

Due in 9 days, but unless something majorly changes I am beginning to think that is not going to happen lol
