condom tore

i had sex with a prostitue yesterday & during intercourse my condom broke , my act would have not lasted more then 2 max 3 mins & am not sure when & at what position it broke but the time i realised i stopped & did not continue .
For certain i had not come & just may be if i remember correctly my penis was yet dry so my guess is she was also dry.

She was cool and carm about the incident & she said she was clean also her agen assured my she was clean obviously i can not take their word for it becaise this prefession is not legal in my country hence no fixed guidliness in place .

Within 14 hours of the incident i started PEP

I want to knw from the experts wht are my chances of getting infected as you can understand the anxiety i am going through & yea if it helps i have a foreskin ( not circumsized )

While i knw the time line on HIV but wht abt other STD

the key is not she has it or not. but the act itself is of very low risk. the doctor shouldn't have prescribed PEP.

or even a week prior!

Its a tricky one...very difficult to assume a csw has been convieniently abstaining for 3 months.Even if she was to test with him who knows if she did not get infected after her incident with him.

and maybe she hasn't had any exposures in the past 3 months that would lead him to believe her results?

Unless you could get tested together with the woman you cannot know fully her status especially if the practice is unlicenced and unregulated. You might have to stick it out-better safe than sorry.Hope this experience will lead to behaviour change.

you shouldn't start PEP. it's extremely low risk, almost none. PEP hurts!

was it dry maybe because the head of your penis was still covered?
