liver pain

for about the last 12weeks i have been experiencing mild pains in my right side in varying locations, mostly at bottom of ribs on right side, but sometimes lower down to the right of belly buuton and sometimes directly in the right side and very occasionally round the back. and with pain and numbness in the right leg and hand ,I have had an ultrasound  and ct scan of my right side about 2 weeks ago, and the report said that all was normal except that there was fat in my  liver, . no stones, nothing else reported. and  ALT  and  rest of blood liver test is normal. my doctor advise me to lose waight iam 49 years old male 2.8 and 215 lb i lost 10 lb for the last month no faty food and exrsise ,but the pain and numbniss getin worst any advice what i have to do now is there may be some thing else cause all this pain
do i need to go to  liver specialist.  or to check my  nerves system please help

I would recommend consulting a GI Specialist to follow up with the "fatty liver."

Have you had a HIDA Scan done of your gallbladder?  Your areas of pain are atypical for gallbladder problems, but the pain isn't.  Anyways, I would have that done.

been haveing some of same trouble i have to go see 2 surgens and have them check my liver from what i found on here i may have come down with one of the hepitits vires but wouldnt have any idea where i would have got it from.
maybe have them check you for that to see next time you goi in
