Many young people become very aware of their body during this time. Seems every month there's something different going on and not all of it is pleasant. If you haven't been to the doctor in a few years it might be time for a general check up. It wouldn't hurt and you could take a list of questions with you. When I get in the doctor's office, I freeze up and the only thing on my mind is to get out of there and go home. :-) Maybe your folks would be open to the idea of a general checkup for you. Hang in there. Life does have it's ups and downs but being an adult is great. Getting there is kind of a rocky road.
okay, thankyou so much. I'm glad that you say it's not unusual and that the pains are just growing pains! Phew! But I haven't told a doctor because my parents probably wouldn't take me if I asked, because I am always fretting about my health. Just your information has put my mind at ease to hear another person say it is just growing pains :) Thankyou!
I'm probably the wrong person to ask since my heart beat has been funky all my life.
5-30 "palpitations" a day is not all that unusual. And you may notice you get them more often just before menses.
The random pains you feel are probably part of growing up, so many changes going on in your body. It's not an easy process. Have you mentioned them to a doctor yet? S/he would be better equipped to answer your questions and put your mind at ease.
