I am assuming you have had a chat about what is upsetting her. You just need to stay positive and reassure her. Are you getting upset when you drop her off? I understand how hard it must be I deal with this on a daily basis as I work in child care. I know they are a lot younger :) Have you talked to the school and maybe organise a 'buddy' for her? Also when you drop her off are there any of her friends there? Maybe if you talk to some of the other mum's you can arrange a time where you both drop your children off at the same time that way she has a friend with her.

This is called separation anxiety.  The only way to deal with this isssue is to "lessen the anxiety" and your daughter will need to learn how to manage her fears/anxieties for this to occur.  I might suggest you google phrases as "school anxiety" or "how to help a child with anxiety" or "separation anxiety in children" or similar words/phrases to get some ideas on how to help your daughter.  There's lots of information on the internet in the form of articles and book titles which should be able to offer assistance.

Those children who are severe in their anxiety/fears have what is called an anxiety "disorder" and thus may require treatment by a professional.  If the information on the internet is not sufficient, then your family doctor should be able to help your daughter if this proves to be the case.  Anxiety is a very common issue with children and highly treatable.  All the best ...
