I have been experiencing a sporadic squeaking sound on a deep inhale, for about six months now. I also sometimes, feel a bubbly sensation under my ribcage, by my sternum, slightly to the left. At first, I thought that was a digestive issue, but after reading another persons similar experience, I wonder if the two are related. I cannot find a pattern to the symptoms, or make a connection. My doctor thought it might be allergies.
After smoking on and off for 7 years, and heavily at times, I can't help but worry that it could be a result of that. But, I quit smoking 8 years ago. I am almost 36 now. I do seem to have a lot of mucus to clear out of my throat. Could that be the cause? Any insight would be appreciated.
