lower eye lid red pimple like bump

My 14 year old daughter had a small red bump in her lower eyelid for about a month. Finally because it wouldn't go away with warm compresses I took her to an eye doctor. He said it was a blcked tear duct opened it and gave her a eye drop (antibotic) to use for 7days. Now after seven days it is still there and her other eye has developed one. they are very unconfortable, she says like a small rock always in your eye. What should we do? Katie

You should have her seen by an opthamologist. they may be chalazions, or they may turn into them after a while. I have them, and the longer you take to have them removed, the harder it is to do so. VERY unpleasant to have

You need to take her back to the doctor.  She may need additional treatment.  She probably has  styes.  This is a pimple on the eyelid.
