Honesty about being pregnant

I was sitting here looking up stuff and I realized, I have 58 days left of my pregnancy! It's gone by faster than I thought it would but also so slow at the same time. I will be honest and say that I don't enjoy much of my pregnancy other than the fact that I have a baby growing inside of me and I can feel him move. Other than that, my back hurts, I'm crampy, moody, don't feel good a lot, can't roll over in bed, can hardly get up OUT of the bed, can't breathe most of the time especially with 100+ weather... I'm taking iron pills that are disgusting and my CM is increasing and becoming annoying!

If we decide to have another baby in the future, I will want to try for a winter baby. Being pregnant in the summer has honestly made me very miserable. I miss being outside.... I know it sounds silly that I'm saying I don't like much about being pregnant, but hey, I'm honest. It's hard work being pregnant. The summer is barely in and it's been SOOOOOO hot for SOOOOO long. I need air!!!! LOL

So, ladies, how long until you "pop" your sweet little one out?? :)))

Im hot in the summer no matter what so the heat doesn't really bother me. Although I can't say I love being pregnant. It seems like there's always been something to be concerned about. First the placenta was low. Then I was sick until week 22 and my iron was low so I have to take vitamins and iron pills. After that, I was put on bedrest for a shortened cervix and had to be monitored weekly, and the baby is measuring small. Since I have a short cervix, im high risk and will be for any future pregnancy. And I hate complaining (which I feel like I'm doing now). The great thing is that he seems to be completely healthy and has always had a really good heartbeat! I def want to do this again, just not for a while!

I will also admit, other than knowing I've got this little baby growing inside of me, I don't care too much for pregnancy either.  I feel like a terrible person saying that sometimes but i'm being honest also.  I didn't so much care for the 18 weeks of throwing up, or the ever increasingly swollen ankles now or not being able to sleep on my back and the hard time i've having breathing.  I'm also not a fan of the 100+ degrees weather either......luckily for me, today is supposed to be 96 with a heat index of 113 degrees and I don't sweat!  The mood swings make ME feel crazy right along with my hubby. lol  I'm due the first week of September and I CANNOT WAIT to see my little girls face!  I also have to say though, if this is what I have to go through to get my baby, I'll do it and I'll be a trooper.  It's taken me almost 5 years to get pregnant.

I have had winter, spring and summer babies.  This one will be the beginning of September.(hopefully)   I can honestly say that as much as it really stinks to be preggo in the summer, it's alot easier to tote around a newborn when it's still warm out!  It's really a pain to have to take a newborn outside to appts, visits, etc when it is freezing out!!! At least she will be a few months old before the really cold weather hits here!  Just a thought to keep you going :)

I have 50 days left :). I don't mind being pregnant even if i gotta deal with the not so great side effects. The weather is 100+ here in Colorado but I eat lots of pebble ice to keep cool. I have no complaints so far, but then again I know what it's like to lose a baby, and want so much just to be a mom.  That was a lot harder to keep my head up in those times that I am extremely thankful that I get the privilege to do this all over again. Try to keep your heads up ladies, we will have our lil bundles before we know it and our bodies will get to be our own again!

Being in Alabama, the weather is STUPID! Lol... It's storming right now and were staying with the in-laws until we finish putting trim in our house..... They turn the air off every time it looks like it's going to storm.. My nose is SO stuffy and it's HOT!....

I feel like I could get in an ice bath right now.
