How concerned should I be about nodules in lungs

I have recently been diagnosed with Triple neg. Metaplastic carcinoma spindle cell after a 6.5 cm tumor was removed from my left breast.  Sentinel lymph was neg.  4 small nodules in the lungs too small for a PET scan worry me.  I am to begin a 5 month course of Chemo beginning with A/C and ending with weekly taxol treatments x 12 weeks next week.  Followed by a bilateral mastectomy then radiation for 28 to 30 treatments.  Is it reasonable to assume that nodules 2mm and less are nothing to be overly concerned about since I'm getting aggressive chemo treatment anyway?  I'm 51 and in good health otherwise.  No immediate family Hx of ANY cancer.  I was a pack a day smoker for approx. 30 years with a ten year break.  I just recently quit again 5 months ago.

I won't say you shouldn't be concerned but I'm sure your treatment plan has been tailored to include any and all findings. I'm sure along the way you will be checked by scans, etc. to note any progress and changes that have resulted from the treatment. One never knows how any cancer will respond to a treatment plan but we all hope for the best. Regards...
