What thyroid medication are you taking and what is the daily dosage? Also, please post your thyroid related test results and their reference ranges shown on the lab report so that members can make an assessment of your testing and treatment.
Thyroid meds are not really meds, but replacement of the hormones your body would make if it could. Since they are virtually identical to our own hormones, the meds are almost never harmful. However, the different brand names and generics contain different fillers (inactive ingredients). Some people are sensitive to the fillers and feel better once they switch brands/generics. So if your asthma is flaring, you might ask your doctor to switch brands.
Please post your recent thyroid labs with reference ranges (these vary lab to lab).
Many hypo women have successful pregnancies once meds are properly adjusted, and they are no longer hypo. If you are undermedicated, it can be difficult to conceive, easy to miscarry and fetal development can be impaired.
If you post results, we'll try to help you interpret them.
