Advice wth Chronic Nausea

I have had chronic nausea for the last 9 months .  At first my doctor thought it was from heat or my thyroid medication but nothing helped.  Then they thought it was GERD and I tried everything including Prilosec, Zantac, Prevacid, and Protonix but nothing has worked.  I went to a Gastro doctor who says I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome but that is not the cause of nausea.  Does anyone have any advice?  I am lost and very sick.

p.s. Ativan should be carefully taken though so I would ask your doctor about it. And I take it for anxiety, not nausea. But I've noticed that they use it for nausea too. I just don't know for temporary use or long term use and I would hate for you to become addicted to the stuff so yeah I would check with your doctor if interested in ativan.

I know anxiety can cause nausea. Are you an overly anxious person? I know ativan can help with nausea but it would be best for you to keep seeing doctors to figure out the cause of it so you can attack the problem. Best of luck to you.

I am trying to deal with this problem too. Also I take 75 levothyroxine. But doubt this is connected. I feel it may be anxiety because .50 alprazolam under tongue for quick action often stops the nausea and general discomfort in the abdomen - upper, stomach or gut. I'd beglad to hear of any new development
