Have you had a sniff test? A diaphragmatic flouroscopy is the official name?
That is simply a sign of narrowing cardiac arteries. If you also have SoB then it confirms you have serious heart problem. Check your lung function also. 8 out of 10 doctors do not really understand much about many issues of the heart. They do everything what the books say but, its not always the case. Heart doctors are some of the riches doctors around. They can make a lot of money especially when you have an operation and, most of all implanting stents.
Does anybody know if this is anxiety ? I m 22 had lung xray in june which was good 5 ecgs good heart scan good bloods good everything iz saying its stress and anxiety but it doesn't happen in a panic attack or anything its just random I know this post is old but im freaking out to the point I cant help but concentrate on my breathing I cant leave the house !
This same thing has been happening to me for the past several months. I would suggest you seek out a doctor to rule out serious conditions. Since I already have asthma, my doctor ruled out the symptom as being asthma related. He's going to treat newly diagnosed allergies to see if that resolves it. If not, I'm going to ask if my breathing can be monitored especially during the day since it seems like I stop breathing while awake. And I may request a CT scan of my lungs. If all comes back negative, I will look into it being anxiety related. Lets keep in touch. Take care.
Do this exercise to exhale the old air in your lungs and so increase the oxygen level.Let me know when you notice the benefit of this pranayam.
Build up your timing gradually. If you feel tired or dizzy, stop and resume after one minute.
Kapalbhati pranayam - Push air forcefully out through the nose about once per second. Stomach will itself go in(contract in). The breathing in(through the nose) will happen automatically. Establish a rhythm and do for 30 to 300 times.
Not for pregnant women. Seriously ill people do it gently. If you do this for more than one minute, then do it before eating or on empty stomach.

Hello and hope you are doing well.
If your oxygen saturation is good and your cardiac condition is stable, you need not worry about the second breath. If it's hiccups, then anything that irritates the under surface of the diaphragm can cause frequent hiccups, like liver abscess, hepatitis or peritonitis. If it persists please consult your primary care physician for evaluation.
Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
