40 weeks and tired

I am 40 weeks even today 8/12/12 & still no sign of my lil prince wanting to come out. I went walking, dancing, gotten a back massage, and prayed. I am seriously tryn not to rush him but this mommy is sooooooo tired. Everyone says "the next time I see you, you will be a mommy" then I see them again and I'm still pregnant lol. I know I'm not the only august momma feeling this way but I guess I had to vent lol

I am also due today :)
no sign of the baby yet though and I have been trying everything for the past week. Walking, cleaning, even managed to have sex once, spicy foods, cinnamon tea, relaxing, bouncing on my birthing ball, and pressure points the closest I can get my contractions is 6 minutes apart and then they stop after an hour or so or they will go back to 10 minutes apart. It's very frustrating to me I want to see and hold my little one

I know how you feel! Im exhausted and impatient to the max! I woke up this morning and cried first thing because i dont feel any different than yesterday! I thought for sure maybe i would wake up and maybe just maybe feel some contractions!

I was 13 days late with my little last and wouldn't have it any other way. My labor was 8 hours for my first baby... Not sure if I just got lucky or when things started happening they just went fast. Sometimes babies need a little extra rome. I know mine did. Even being so late was only 7 lbs 11 oz. your baby will come when he is ready and thats the best time for then to come. Just sleep a lot. I know it's not easy but it's totally worth the wait. good luck to you

I have heard that raspberry team helps to bring on the labor. Spicy food as well. x
