Sudden feeling of everything moving fast\sounds louder\heart racing

I have these spells that happen often, about 1-2 times a week. It happens when i am relaxed, i.e. reading a book taking a bath laying down for bed....

And everything around me seems to be moving intesnly fast and any sounds seem to be extra loud.

I know it isnt really fast because ill test it by moving my hand slowly in front of my face but it seems its happening in lightning speed.

This is accompanied with my heart racing ... any thoughts in my mind are also very fast and seem to be yelling at myself....

this episodes last about 15-30 minutes. Any thoughts or ideas?

Hello, do you have these still? It could be just Febrile seizures, but then it could also be temporal lobe epilepsy seizures. I suggest to get an MRI and EEG scan at neurologist.

Hi there!

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include low stress/ anxiety, low blood sugar, low blood pressure, vertigo, causes related to the internal ear, a few neurological issues, cardiovascular causes etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
