Was the milk too hot or cold? Was he getting too much milk from the nipple? There could be a lot of reasons why he stopped taking it. I use playtex drop in bottles that have slow flowing nipple. Ive heard good things about dr brown bottles too. Try feeding with only the bottle for a day or 2. My daughter didnt like the bottle either took 2-3 times tring and about 5 minutes each time before she would latch on. It might be slow but dont give up. I would also stick with breastmilk in the bottle if it seems he is preferring that over formula. Good luck.

Call the lactation consultant you saw in the hospital, or La Leche League.  He is not just being stubborn, he is a little baby.
