Discoloration of nail beds.

My finger nail beds have a brown tint on the top half of them.  Is this a symptom of anything?

Ichi:
The appearance of the fingernails may be a symptom of a systemic disease.

Look at these pictures and descriptions, and see if you find your problem described.

Nail Abnormalities: Clues to Systemic Disease

Look at:  FIGURE 11, Half-and-half nails.

If you do not know the meaning of some of the medical terms, you can look them up online....or I can check back and see if you need help.

Wishing you the best,
Carol

Try a Q-tip dipped in bleach & saturate under ea. nail for 1 min
& rinse well. Will whiten & kill some types of fungus. Many
naturopathic bs's can also help take a look & suggest cause.
