Horrible Smell

Hello, for some time now I have been getting so many complaints about how bad I smell. It's ruining my entire life. I've been to a few Doctors and they alltell me that I don't have an odor,  family members and some close friends say the same. But that's notthe case for others. I shower everyday, and change underwear through out the day sometimes. I took a few STD tests and they came back negative. All of this has started after I slept with this guy, so I'm pretty confused on to whats really going on. Some people would ask if I farted, so maybe that's what I smell like?? Like i've been farting?? I have no clue where this smell is coming from. Everyone just gives me dirty looks, scrunches up their noses sometimes they even have to rush out of the room cause the smell is so bad. I'm to a point where suicide is  the answer,  i've became so depressed cause of this. I don't know what to do. Please Help?

This is the exact thing that’s happening to me. I don’t know what’s going on. I have bought so much new shampoo to dry, dove soap, expensive cologne, and nothing seems to work. Have things gotten better for you ?

Everything you have mentioned is also going on with myself. The smell has been going on for almost two years, and with time it just seems to get worse. I did all the STD checks and so on and so forth to no relief and was finally diagnosed with “HPV” almost two months back. I know that there are many types to it, so I’m calling my OBGYN in the morning to find out what type of this can be answered. I need to know how to go about it and helping myself also. I too have people who look at me when I walk by awkwardly or almost like “She’s Nasty!” I am not! I shower twice a day of not more depending on these looks and I also depending on whether I can smell it myself or not that particular day. My family and friends tell me they smell nothing and that I am just paranoid but I know better. Facts are that this is my body and I know myself better than they do. I even do a “Smell check” (secretly) when I get these looks from people, or when I smell it and there is literally nothing coming from my vagina. No kind of smell at all. Now, I have also noticed (I’ve had almost two years as mentioned before to do so) that it is only when I walk by a lot of times that I get those looks. When I squat down, I don’t smell it from the From, but more so emitting from my back side? I seen someone said earlier in this thread that if it were a smell associated with “HPV” it would come more from the anal area. So this has gotten my attention to the fullest. I need to know more about that and what I can do to help myself if this is the cause due to being diagnosed with “HPV.” I can’t work, or I can but the first time I smell myself it literally throws me off of focus completely at work. I have went from being the “Life Of The Party”, to being a social outcast whom isolates herself from most anyone, including family. I truly don’t know what to do and it also has me on the verge of suicide. I’ve actually tried a couple of times, but I end up calling the EMT to myself after I’ve realized what I’ve done. I know I’m better than that, but I can’t continue to love like this. I also, can not continue to live like this all coupled up everyday while bills pile up either. I’ve often wondered if I have colon cancer, or some type of STD there also. When I tell y’all my mind roams, it roams. I’m just so sick of finally finding the courage to get a job, go hang out with friends one Friday night, or even go to a family reunion all to have someon mumble something stupid and childish under there breath while I’m my presence. It makes me want to gun them all down because they don’t know what I’m going through and I don’t even know how to explain to them what I am going through as I myself doesn’t quite truly know myself. I keep BV l, or UTI’s. They come back randomly and I am not sexually active as of right now either so I’m confused. I can go buy the 24 hr insert for either at the local wal-mart, and for a few days, I am ok. However, when that time runs out, the smell comes back, the Bv comes back, and I’m lost! Even Bv truly doesn’t have much of a smell to it. The smell that radiates from my backside however can vary. Sometimes, I smell a strong fishy odor and other times it can smell like onions, trash even, rotted ? and a strong urine odor that is only similar to that of a male cat that has sprayed! Most commonly and here recently I have smelt something like a dookie odor and even thisbtrasy smell! Yes! Like a literal smell of crap coming from my backside! Something has to be done or I’m scated at what might happen with myself! I’ve never had this problem in my previous years, and up until the last two, I’ve been fine. I can’t even go dancing (My favorite hobby) as even getting too hot can bring these smells on. I just don’t know which one it will be at the time... and I am also a “Tower Technician” whom works for company’s like AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile. I have to climb towers for them to do carrier upgrades and just last week I had to climb down and change clothes (just to climb 200 ft for a second time) all because as the wind caught myself from underneath, I could smell myself and it was soooooo sting! As a woman being in this industry (there are only a handful of us nation wide) I work with a crew of 3-5 people (All men) whom travel the world to do this type of work depending on what market I’m in at that current time. So you can see how embarrassing it is for me to work and pray not only for our safety on that tower that day, but also that this “???” Doesn’t start acting up while on site. I’m truly so confused about what is going on with me that even as I type all of this to strangers, I just want to curl up and cry my eyes out. Today has been one fo those days where I barricade myself into my room and literally can hear others telling people why I am in here. Even my own father told a guest to rinse out the tub with bleach after I got out. I wonder if he knows how terribly hard that was for me to hear, or if he even cares. He tell everyone about it and I’m treated like I’m liter a “Nobody.” All I’m saying is of anyone can figure this out, or has some advice now or on the future that may help with my current situation, please do not refrain from calling me on my personal Cell-832.735.0499. Ive been going through that too..my warts appeared after I was treated for a yeast infection but never really noticed upon until lately. I've got this odour that fills whatever room I'm in and its really disturbing

Well i am currently going through the same issue as well for a long while,ive been through alot of doctors,none seemed to figure out whats wrong.I had yeast once an it was left untreated so i figured its the cause..since recently i see warts in the vagina but the best thing ill say is to do pap test to make sure its not abnormal and your doct could figure out treatment options..suicide is not an option be strong.

My theory is that hpv can change body odour.  Mine changed after i slept with a girl who had an odd smell - now i have it. So somehow the smell was passed on. Since hpv infects the skin it seems logical that the sweat glands could be affected. There is so much we don't know about the non life threatening aspects of hpv.

Hi did u get rid of the odor and all? I'm in the same position and nothing seem to work for me as well..I also had an yeast left untreated now I see warts inside the vagina.I did a pap test and  had abnormal cells but doctor just said to repeat in 6 months I can't go on with this for 6 months I have to work but keep on stopping because I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable please help I don't want to commit a suicide because of this.. Hi- if you've tried being tested for Trichomoniasis, Bacterial vaginosis (BV) and yeast infection and all came back negative you should get re-tested.  Have your tried antibiotics?  Have you tested the PH of your vagina?
In terms of HPV odor it mainly effects the anal area (and between buttocks if you are overweight and sweaty) and to a lesser extent the vulva/vagina.  Over years the body generally reduces the HPV levels -  with high risk types they can never be completely cleared by the immune system.  My symptoms were much better after 3 years.  Warts generally go in time.
As you have abnormal cells you have at least one high risk HPV virus.  You can also try the new HPV gene test which can identify 14 high-risk types of HPV.  
It does sound like your odor issue is quite bad so I suspect it probably isn't HPV related as there are other conditions much more likely to cause a high level of odor.

I'm not sure whats going on then, hopefully it gets better though. I can relate to you, because I have been through it. Dont give up hope just continue researching and try to get another opinion

I'm thinking so too, and I have but, none of them look like what I have around the mouth and in the genital area so I don't know what it can be, but i'm no Dr. Or have much knowledge about but I don't think it's suppose to look like that.   And i'm using dove at the moment regular kind too... I do to!! It has to be in my mind because when I ask my family and close friends they all tell me No, but around other people in class, work, and out in stores they give me dirty looka when I walk by and over their nose some go all out and put their shirt over their face, i'm just left like "comeee on noww-___-" I get left alone at work and school because of this. I don't know what's going on!! , and no, just the pill she didn't think it was nothing serious

I would suggest going to a different doctor for a second opinion. Have you looked online and compared your bumps to genital wart pictures online? As far as the smell, maybe change soaps and see if it works.. Maybe use summers eve body wash..Or dove bar soap or body wash.. Just make sure it's the regular kind. Hopefully the smell goes away! You may just be paranoid. Did your doctor prescribe the oral pill as well as the cream?

I'd figure it would be from that,  my Dr. Said the same thing I also had or actually have a yeast infection my Dr. Also gave me pills the smell went away for a few days (that I can actually smell) then I went for a check up and I said thar thr smell went away, but three days later it came back. And I also have some sort of bumps my Dr. Looked at it but she said I look healthy and that people get pimples down there, I was so confused but still went along with what she was saying.  I don't know wether or not to go back cause this "smell" is ruining my social life

Maybe you have a yeast infection. That same thing happened to me before, family and friends never noticed any smell but customers from my job would always make comments like did someone fart?. So after going to the doctor, to see about a bump i had on my rectum area he told me i either have a yeast infection or genital warts. And prescribed dyfluncin (i know it's spelled wrong) and an oral pill. I prayed it wasnts warts but i applied the cream to my genital area and after that i stopped hearing those comments  so i figured i had both, warts and a yeast infection.
