I am 35+ 4 wks due on feb 22. I've had my stroller/ car seat since 7 months (had it on layaway so my cost were spread out over time). I've been picking up things as they go, on sale or if I have a good coupon. So right now I'm pretty much ready if she was to come early. I already have breast feeding supplies, wipes, pampers, bottles, bathing supplies, clothing/ sleep wear and detergent. The only thing I need is my bassinet/crib.
It's very expensive having a new little one so spreading the cost out takes away some of the pressure.
I honestly would have gotten it earlier, because you could go into labor early. I am due the 9th, but have had pretty much everything since October.
Glad to know I'm not alone on this one! I've kinda put my foot down and said I am gonna do it just for the fact I still want to be comfortable and enjoy it. They kind of backed off at that point. Who wants to argue with a pregnant woman anyways haha.
Definitely not too early! I am 34&2 amd already have a ton of my essentials! It helps to spread the costs out a bit, I think I started buying things around 20 weeks
