How bad are the GAPs in my teeth??Please Help. I am depressed about this.

I have always hated my smile because of the gaps between my teeth. I am 24, and I want to get a permanent or semi-permanent fix. I don't want veneers or bonding because those are just cosmetic procedures. So I was thinking about braces (which i am not keen on) or Invisalign. But I have heard that invasalign is not so effective with really bad gaps. so my question for you is this: Are my gaps small enough for invasalign to a have a noticeable effect? Thanks

I don't think Lumineers or any type of veneer is the way to go. Your front teeth are proclined (leaning forward) and there would be significant tooth reduction to push them back to line them up with the bottom. If you were just to close the gaps, the teeth would need to be widen and look "fatter" with veneers or Lumineers.  If you remove from tooth structure from the front, it may be possible but then you would be removing natural tooth structure that you can't get back

I would recommend braces or Invisalign.  At this point based upon the pictures, I would think that either would be possible but teeth movement aren't always predictable in regards to how fast or effective treatment is.

I think your teeth look fine, but what you think is what matters most.  I would personally get Lumineers, which would be faster and easier than orthodontics.  Invisalign is a great treatment but as you said, it doesn't work for every case.  To determine whether or not you are a good candidate for Invisalign, you would need to have impressions and measurements taken by a Dentist or Orthodontist.  They would then be able to tell you what Invisalign can and cannot accomplish in your case.
