I FINALLY FOUND A SOLUTION FOR MY HORRIBLY ITCHY LEGS!!!
About a day after shaving my legs would itch SO badly, and I'd scratch so bad that sometimes even break the skin, and they'd bleed. I'd break out in hives and the itch was sometimes unbearable!
UNTIL one day I thought I'd try shaving WITH the grain, rather than against the grain... and VOILA... IT WORKED!!! NO MORE ITCHING!!

It's definitely not as close as a shave, but wow, what a difference!
I really hope this helps some of you who suffer from this annoying shaving issue.

Make sure your legs are wet/soapy enough when you shave makes a whole bunch of difference.

Yes, developed this recently. Almost like a burning, itching sensation, lasts an hour usually on my legs after shaving, very irritating. Nothing to do with lotion for me anyway. I pour cold water over my legs for that hour, stops the burning itch. Read somewhere about Razor Burn Folliculitus. This sounds a little like it, perhaps a milder version, nothing mild about the painful burning itching sensation though. They recommended to stop shaving for a short while and wash with an antibacterial wash then perhaps get laser treatment. Laser half price at the moment here, quite reasonable so going to try that. I found this antibacterial on Amazon. Covers all possibilities a if you read the info. Reviews and info looks good, going to try it first, then laser.

This is gonna sound weird but it works... Before you shave put conditioner on your legs

I have some in shower lotion that I use so I shave first then apply the lotion all over and take my final rinse. Then I don't itch after.

Yeah I suggest lotion too. Just something not overly parfumed or anything. :)
