I'm 14 and my son is a preemie

My son was born last friday making him a week old now I had him at 33+2 weeks I lost our little girl at 27 weeks last oct on the 16th.I went to the hospital last monday and she said that i was 3 cents so they gave me a pill to stop my contractions every 20 mins but the pills didn't work so they got ready to discharge me on thursday morning but they hooked me up to see if i was still having contractions and i was so they sent me back down to L&D so the doctor came in and being that i lost our daughter already she induced me our son was born on friday he was born 4 pounds 4oz and 17inches long he came out breathing on his own without any problems thank god for that.So they put him in the nicu he was there for 6 days but then they put him in an open crib and moved him to the 4th floor of the hospital because he was stable and doing amazing they told mecwhen i called that he still had jaundice but his numbers were dropping so i was a little less worried about him but he was still born a preemie they also told me that they moved him up there because he was close to being discharged they moved him up to 48 CC's and he's been eating all his meals but him being so tiny sometimes they have to help him by putting in a feeding tube so my question is how long does a preemie born at 33 weeks with jaundice have to stay in the hospital????
