Blood Bister on Penis Foreskin

Hi, just today I noticed a blood blister on the foreskin of my penis, the blood blister did pop and now it's just a bit smaller and around the area is a little red. I'm wondering if this is due to Masterbating, cause have not had sex within the past two years or so? There is no soreness to it, or scratchy sensation. I'm just wondering if I should have this checked or wait a week or two too see if another may appear? Thanks.

sorry, i just realized i should also give some background information.

about 1 month prior to any signs of bumps on my penis i had developed some intense heat rashes on all sensitive areas of my body. groin area (not penis), inner/upper thighs, and my inner forearms. I workout 5-6 days a week, and play tennis 2-4 times a week as well. that's why im beginning to think it's merely symptomatic of friction irritating follicles, then the sweat getting into teh follicles and makes them go crazy.

i have a somewhat similar question. approximately 2 months ago i noticed the formation of a approximatley 8 small red bumps on the head of my penis. the bumps did not itch, hurt or even blister. eventually they went away by themselves. the bumps came back again about a week later only to go away again. these bumps vary in size, sometimes bigger, and sometimes flesh colored, but never itching and never painful or bleeding.

I was fearful that this herpes, but all the pictures i've seen are not similar to what i have. in addition, i read that herpes comes and goes approximatley 4 times a year, to which i've already have had 4 breakouts in the past 2 months. the frequency at which these bumps come and go makes me really disbelieve that this is herpes.

On a rare case a red bump will swell almost to bruise about 1/2" across and the skin around it becomes dry. i've read around on this forum it sounds as if i might have follucilitis (spelling?). any input would be greatly appreciated since this doesn't seem to have any of the characteristics of the STD i've read about

Glad to hear it's almost gone.  The bump should go away too, but that takes a few weeks.  You're looking harder at your penis, which is why you're noticing minor changes.  Masturbating with minimal friction should not bother the bump.  Again, for definitive diagnosis, you'll need to ask a doctor in person.

I'm just wondering, the blood blister seems almost gone arleady, just a small little bump still there. I'm kind of embarrased to ask this but should I still stay away from Masturbating for a couple days yet, or it would be ok too? Also I've never really used Lubrication before while Masturbating, any certain that won't irritate the skin, and I've noticed certain days the tip of the Penis around the opening seems to have like a darker area of skin color like a circle around it, is that just to do getting older or something else? I'm only 23, but never noticed it before. Thanks again for the help.

I would wait.  It's probably from friction, as you suggest.  If you wait it out, it will probably go away in a week or two.  If not, you can have it checked then.

Take care.
