prescription refill or replacement
I recently filled a prescription of xanax, of which I lost today. This is the first time I have ever lost my anxiety medication. I suffer from PTSD and have a high level of anxiety. My fiance is pregnant and I am looking for a new job, which will require us to move. Finances are also tight at the moment. This is causing an increased level of anxiety and I desperately need my medication in order to relax and sleep without thrashing. Is there anyway I could get a refill of my prescription, have an alternative medicine prescribed, take a supplement that is strong enough, or any other advice you could supply? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
By loosing your prescription do you mean the written prescription? If so I think you just call whoever you usually call to get the written scripts and ask for a new one. Your refilling this at the same pharmacy everytime. Correct? I
If your saying you lost your meds I would make it a project to find them. If you lost them they are somewhere. Ask for help. Look up on top of things. Check the floor under the bed, couch under the car seats all that stuff. Make it a project.
Loosing your meds or trying to refill early put a lot of attention on you and your doctor will be concerned your showing signs of improper drug use. I refilled my "as needed" script at the end of 30 days. *I'm a little OCD and my Doctor got really worried and had me talk to a PDoc and have a sit down about meds. I knew ahead of time that this was about me refilling earlier then "usual" and I brought the unused pills to the doctor who thought it was all pretty funny. I try to avoid benzos after reading some scary (but who knows if its true) study about dementia. Anyway - really look. Ask for help. Sometime I loose my keys by putting them in the middle of the table and go running around looking in all the unlikely places first. *And freaking out.

That was tough. I've been on xamax for 25 years buut always as needed and under the tongue for quick results. I cannot take three doses a day. Knocks me out. Ihope you're ol now
you can see the doctor and tell them you lost your pills maybe if you explain what happened is money going to be a problem?
