Metabolic Bone Disease in reptiles

My Bearded dragon was unofficially diagnosed with metabolic bone disease and severe malnutrition. That was 7 months ago. he was doing great, gaining weight, becoming stronger, and super affectionate. a week ago i started to notice some abnormal behavior. He has stopped basking unless placed in his basking spot. (where he'll bask for only a few minutes) the rest of his time he spends hiding/sleeping. hes become unnaturally aggressive. He is still eating and defecating. Im wondering whether its just him or if his MBD is getting worse.
