Pregnant with twins

Hi,

Wondering if anyone has been through or is going through the same...
I'm just over6 weeks pregnant with twins and feel a dull heavy ache in the lower part of my tummy.
I don't want my whole pregnancy to be a worry but it's really worrying me already.

Any advice welcome.

Gemma

I had twins.  You have to remember, your uterus is expanding very quickly with twins.  Of course, your going to worry, but aches pains pulling are all to be expected.  Wait till those little ones get bigger :).

Here's to an uneventful pregnancy!!

I'm also pregnant with twins. I have had the same feelings since the beginning and I'm 31 weeks. Twin pregnancy is a lot different than my first pregnancy I can promise you that. Very uncomfortable but you will get through it. Good luck to you (:

Even if you were carrying one baby the worry would be just as bad. Dull aches are very common. Chances are that it is your uterus expanding upwards and our of the pubic bone. This usually happens around 12 weeks for single pregnancies, so could be a little earlier for multiples. If you have had a scan you don't need to worry about eptopic pregnancy as the fetal poles are evidently in your womb, otherwise you wouldn't know you were carrying twins. Dull aches can also be due to round ligament pains

Hey I'm I weeks and I've been having the same pains in my lower stomach. My doctor did a scan and everything is OK with the baby. He said it's just that your body is adjusting to the pregnancy and certain parts have to expand so you're going to feel some abdominal pain. But go and get it checked out so that because it can be serious.
