Brain inflammation post-treatment

It was my personal experience that immense inflammatory processes started in my body 90-days post cessation of treatment with INF / RVN.  Anecdotal evidence on this forum confirms my experience.

Anecdotal evidence on this forum suggests about a 60-day post-cessation of treatment onset of similar symptoms with the newer drugs.

In any event, I came across the article below re: brain inflammation and its symptoms.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/5l3u9p3pmpbwpk2/Brain%20inflammation%20chronic%20fatigue%20syndrome%20journal%20of%20nuclear%20medicine%20copy.pdf?dl=0

I believe we have suffered from neuro-psychological ailments akin to those described in this article, in addition to physical manifestations such as psoriasis, arthritis, fibromyalgia, fried thyroids, blood sugar problems, rapid onset of cirrhosis, kidney disease, IBS, swollen toes and arteriosclerosis in the toes, etc.

I have of late seen more and more research and discussion of the injuries caused by inflammation.

This is part of the reason why it is SO important to undertake a non-inflammatory diet if you suffer from post-[Hep C drug of the day] syndrome (also known sometimes as "reckless and naive physician disease").

If you eat bread, dairy and factory meats, you will likely feel more down, depressed, dissociated and muddled.

You can really help your mental and physical state in the early and very difficult throes of post-interferon syndrome by eating non-inflammatory.

one funny thing: this thread actually brought me to  the idea of  trying out NMDA (Glutamate) Antagonist Memantine and it really improves my ability to perform tasks by at least 50%!
Why not only stay away from Gluten but decrease the overall glutamate amount binding to CNS sites? it works!

A bad night.  Having been afflicted by these poisons, I just never know who is going to show up.

I cut wheat dairy and all processed food for 5 years (3 years post INF/RVN-a little late methhinks) and while it did settle my IBS symptoms I was eating a very restricted diet. Two years ago ( as my appetite was still poor) I decided to include a little of what I fancy now and then and while I still don't eat much wheat or dairy, their inclusion doesn't seem to have had any major ill effects. It feels like brain inflammation to me and I don't know how we can cure that.
