Anyone else not dilating yet?

I went in for my 36 week appointment today (36w3d) and found out my cervix is still closed and hard. This is my second baby and with my first I never dilated on my own with my first. I ended up having a cytotec induction that lasted 44 hours! I'm scared this pregnancy will end up the same way.

Home induction can take up to a month, as long as you don't push yourself too hard (you need your energy) it should help at least a bit. I'm due any day, and trying all the induction methods possible. Keep your chin up, do what you can, your baby will be in your arms soon enough ;D

It's so hard not to worry because I really don't want to be induced again.. but I've tried walking, sex, and an exercise ball. I'm not giving up yet!

Don't worry yourself, with my first I didn't dilate until my water broke. She was born at 37 and a half weeks. Just remember that every pregnacy is different. Try to relax and not stress yourself out mentally. Try going for walks and maybe using an exercise ball. Yoga is always good for these things too. You will start when your body feels it's time.
