Want a second opinion on my Rubella igg test report and vaccination.

Hi,
I had a miscarriage last year. And before trying again I went through several tests. After getting the reoprts I got to know that my thiroid is on the border and My rubella report came positive. Hence my doctor asked if I want to take the vaccination. I want to know whether is it necessary to take this vaccination ?

You say "my rubella report came positive," are you saying it came back and said you had rubella at the time of the test?  Or that you have been exposed to rubella in your life and have had it?  Or that it is "positive" that you should get a shot?
