When did you tell your parents?

I was planning in telling my parents tomorrow that I am pregnant (1st time) as I thought I was 7wks but found out am actually 5.5wks.

Not sure whether to tell them or to wait a bit longer? What did you do?

I told my family right after I told my fiance which was an hour after I found out (got a baby gift to surprise him) then I couldn't wait, I was so excited! I was 5 weeks pregnant and figured no matter what happened I wanted the support. Now I am almost 36 weeks (on tuesday) and baby boy is growing and moving! I'm so in love and beyond thankful for the support of my whole family

I was a bit scared jaja but I'm married with a 2 year old. I told them a few days after I found out I was 2 1/2 months.

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first baby and just told my parents. I know it is very early but it feels so good that they know and I can share my joy and my worries with them :)

I could not hold it back when I saw my mom so I told them at 5 weeks...

I figure tell if you're comfortable discussing bad news as well.   With my first I waited until 13 weeks.   With this one I've been wanting to for weeks now,but haven't seen my parents, and my in-laws are busy enjoying their newest grandson.   Don't want to steal my SILs thunder just yet.   So I guess I'm waiting again.

Im planning on telling both sets of parents at 6 weeks. They say its good to let a few close people know. And the inlaws are conveniently in town next week too.
