When can someone be physically active after a hysterectomy?

How long does to healing process take to the point where you can go walking of jogging? After a month of healing is it normal to feel pain from exercise?

Your surgeon should have given you explicit instructions about what you can and cannot do and when. Please call his/her office.

At one month post, I don't think you should be doing any heavy exercising. It's normal to feel some pain or discomfort at the one month mark. There is a lot of internal healing that needs to take place. I've heard it can take over 6 months (and maybe even close to a year) for full healing.
