Is KD harming my unborn child?

Im a vegetarian and very healthy. Everyone comes to me for health advice. And I love vegetables. But for the last two weeks (im at 7.5 weeks) all I can stomach is everything Id never eat: bread, egg mcmuffins, marble cheese with pickles, kd with tuna and tomatos, doritos. Am I harming my baby if this is all the 'nutrients' im providing at the beginning of their growth???

I'm the same way right now. I'm looking forward to the second trimester hoping that all the aversions will go away. I have tried to eat healthy, but it makes me want to throw up. I can't wait to eat healthy for the babies sake and my own.

Omg I'm exactly the same. Normally really healthy and active but at the moment fresh veg turns my stomach and package sandwiches and crisps are all I can stomach. Found some healthy first trimester food plans to try and get myself back in the habit of eating fresh veg.

My ob is the same as you (healthy, vegetarian).  But for right now she says eat what you can keep down, and by second trimester you should want vegetables again.

I wouldn't worry too much about it as long as you are also taking a prenatal. Of course the healthier the better but babies are super resilient.
