I hate insurance
I guess I just need to vent. My husband has new insurance through his work so I got online to look up a list of midwives near me. Every time I call one they say they are not affiliated with my hospital even though my insurance says they are. I'm stressing out so bad!
The problem is with the insurance. Their list is not up to date and the nearest ob or midwife they are giving me the option to see is an hour away. I'm down to calling all the ones closer to me to find one that says they accept my insurance since the insurance company doesn't have a recent list. I have a feeling it's going to be an uphill battle with them the entire pregnancy
Can your hospital give you a list of midwives? A way to knock out some if the naysayers?
