Bad Cough

I have a really bad cough. The left side of my throat is starting to hurt. Even when I drink water. I've had it for 2 weeks now. It's just a cough though. I'll sometimes get a headache. I've tried drinking a honey & lemon tea. I've tried cough drops. I've tried warm compression. I've tried vaporo on my chest and feet. Idk what else to try. I've told my dr about it the last appointment I had and she said to take cough drops but that doesn't work for me. Idk what else is safe to take. Any body has any safe home remedies or knows what may help with it?

What Robitussin do you take? I took the one that said Md or Dm on it. I still have a cough tho and I've already finished the medicine. I also take cough drops.

You can take Robatussin.   I have a horrible head cold right now. And have been taking around the clock Robatussin, Tylenol, nasal spray and cough drops. All OB approved.
