Endo reccurance and other conditions associated

Last year in August I had a laparascopic procedure and was diagnosed with Stage 3 Endometriosis. Since then I had a short phase where things started to go up and recovery seemed like it was happening however, lately I have been experience many of the same symptoms I was prior (cold sweats, extreme fatigue, pain at least 2 days prior to period and irregular bowel movements). I want to know the likelihood of this being a reccurance of endo (as my surgeon was positive that I would not have reccurance) and the chance that this could be a different issue such as ME as there are links between endo and Chronic fatigue. I am a cyclist and it is getting to the point where I am too tired and emotionally exhausted to exert myself physically which then further takes a toll on my emotional state. Is hormone replacement an option? I have the IUD inserted but have a suspicion that have an Oestrogen dominant tendency.

Endometriosis can always recur if you are still having a period.

Yes, there has been a link seen between fatigue and this.  I am sorry you are having such a tough time.  What does your treating doctor say about hormone replacement therapy?

I have recently gone back to the doctors and pushed the point that i think it could be endocrine related and I've been sent off for all sorts of blood tests. Ive said that I would like to be referred to an endocrinologist. My specialist said there was an unlikely chance of the endo returning after the surgery but I'm having a hard time believing it with the symptoms I've been getting recently. Thank you for answering! I really appreciate it.
