1st pregnancy! Can't contain my excitement but also worried

I just found out last night! I am 5 weeks +1 along, due date is Nov.9!!! This is my first ever pregnancy. I'm 28 years old and I'm in pretty good shape and health. But, how do I keep that little concern of miscarriage out of my mind? We've been trying for over 2 years and I am over the moon about the little, but as a first timer idk what to expect. I am praying like crazy that this pregnancy is successful! Any advice or reassuring words? Thanks ladies!

Just try to think positives at all times because what is to be must be. And let God will be done.... All the best

Hello! I am also a first time mom and the doctor said that I'll expect my little one on the first week of November! Me and my husband have been married for 4months and we cant contain our happiness because of this huge blessings. I am also a nurse here in the Philippines and some of the things that I could advice to you is just have your regular check ups with your OB-gyne, make sure you have enough good sleep, lessen the stress that you have in your environment, and most importantly pray harder :) God bless to us future mommies ❤️

I'm the same 5.5 weeks with my first and have another 1.5 weeks till my first scan. I'm praying to god there's a heartbeat and it's so hard to think about anything else. I just want to know and it's horrible having to wait!

I am in the same boat! Last period was jan 26th, took a preg test a week and a half ago, and it came back neg. I thought that was strange, but whatever. Last friday, I had 2 positive tests! We are so excited, but I am super nervous...about EVERYTHING! I have not been to the doc yet, so hopefully that will ease some concerns?

Hello,

I am only 2nd baby. I am 24 next week. My husband and I are very excited but worth the same thing its normal to worry. just don't stress too much because too much stress can cause a miscarriage.
We are waiting to tell our family until we are 13weeks just in case.

Hey. I'm in the same boat as you. We've been trying for a year and at last we got what we've always wanted. And I think the same as you, I research over and over about possible ways it could happen and pray at night. But honestly I think I'm just not going to worry about it anymore, just because I don't want it to get to the point where I'm constantly stressing about it. They say just to continue your everyday life so Ima do that and hope for the best. Besides all that stress and doubts aren't good for the baby.

Thank you! I've been trying to avoid thinking about it as much as I can. I guess as a first timer, it's common to worry just a tad bit more. But I will do the same :)
Congratulations on your little one too!
