I have a 2 yr old boy and im 20weeks pregnant with another boy.

I was thinking if i should get my 2 yr old a car bed or whatevrr he wants and give the new one the crib . but i dont want my baby to fall out of his bed . at what age did you take the crib bars down ? . also hes a pretty crazy sleeper..

I kept my boys in their crib as long as possible.  My sons are 15 months apart---  I got a second crib for my second son.  I like the safety measure of a crib so if she isn't ready to transfer, don't do it yet.  You can get a second hand crib pretty cheap.  good luck hon

When my little girl could stand up and climb out I took the crib bars down!

My son went into a big bed at 17 months. He has a cabin bunk so the bottom is very low to the floor. I put a stack of pool noodles under the sheet to stop him falling out.
