What type of questions should I ask my vet to make the best decision?

Hello,

Last night our adopted 7 year old was found to have Lyme Disease and in turn has CKD.  I don't have much detail as far as values of her blood test.  We both (my husband and I) kinda shutdown when got the news.  I am just looking for possible questions to ask my vet to understand and make a good call on what to do next?

Is CKD painful?

Hello. I am sorry for being so late getting back to you about your questions. Personal circumstances and ill-health have caused me to be away from MedHelp for a while. Can you please update me with any changes since your original post along with any other questions you may have. I will get back to you within a day or so of you posting. Thank you. Tony
