High hcg no fetal pole im so confused

So i went to the er about 2 weeks ago..hcg was 1099. Ultrasound showed gestational sac under 5 weeks old.....then 2 days ago i ended up going to the er for severe black pain... Hcg is now 10,000...ultrasound agai showed gestational sac under 5 weeks ..no fetal pole doesnt make any sense at all.... Thats the same thing they said weeks ago and my hcg is doubling progressing and im not bleeding cramping or anything.  Dr said hes confused because of how high my hcg is they should c more of the baby and i might be in thw beginning stages of miscarring or might b ok.. His exact words smh but schedule my ob as soon as possible..they have been technology ultrasounds..

... Has anybody heard or had this before ?!?

Gosh, that is confusing.  Try not to panic but DO see your ob as soon as possible.  Early pregnancy is such that things can be just fine but they don't see this or that and then all of a sudden they do.  One does worry about high hcg numbers and such though for things like ectopic pregnancy.  I think you need to consult with an ob as soon as possible to make sure that isn't the case and hope that they give you answers in general. I'll be thinking of you.  When do you think you can get into a doctor?  Hopefully early next week.  Let us know!
