Why do I have blood in stool after my period?

Hello, I am 14 years old and just recently my period has ended.

I was in school and I felt the need to poo but held it in since I didn't want to miss my lessons.

After school, I hung out with my friends to a cafe and ate Chicken Salad with them...

Right after that my stomach was in pain (Not really, more like it was super uncomfortable).

I still held it in though :P

And right after coming back home, I straight away went to the toilet.

At first it was kind of hard to let it out but it came out normally. However, the pain was still there so I just waited. Suddenly there was a really loud grumble in th lower part of my stomach.

Then... The stool became super soft. It wasn't diarrhea, just really soft.

I looked into the bowl and saw blood before the soft stool and was confused.

I don't know what's the cause of it...

But I hope someone gives me several possibilities so I'll understand more.

Thank you.

That is probably more gastrointestinal than anything related to the human reproductive system.  Blood in a bowel movement is something to tell your mom about.  You could have something like a fissure or hemorrhoid and that would be a brighter red color.  Or if it is darker, then it is an issue higher up in the bowel and that needs to be examined as to why.  Either way, you need to tell your mom as at 14, she'll want to help you with this.  good luck
