Can biopsy’s be wrong?

I was told I had breast cancer after a mammogram and ultrasound in 2016 but the sample in the biopsy was clear... Now I’ve had a thermography scan that shows it’s a Th5 which means high risk of being cancer. And Last week a new ultrasound showed it has grown in size (was initially measured at five cm) and the new radiologist seemed very concerned. She wanted to biopsy again and said I should arrange surgery asap. She said she always takes three samples from three different areas as they can all Have different results. I felt like she thought the previous biopsy was wrong.

However my consultant doesn’t seem too bothered. It’s so hard being told I had cancer, then don’t have cancer and not having any answers!

I’m pushing for surgery so they can test it, but I feel like maybe I’m making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Anyone have any experience of the biopsy being wrong?

when it comes to cancer, i would take no chances.  if it were me, i would opt for the biopsy.
