Will I catch a cold?

Hello
I was at my aunts house yesterday and my cousin and her daughter were over.  I was there for only 15 minutes but my cousin's daughter was breathing through her mouth quite a bit but she didn't cough or sneeze while I was there.  And she was standing in front of me quite a bit but I also didn't want to be rude and leave right away either.  Her nose was quite dry and kind of had cuts like when you blow your nose alot. I'm not sure if she was sick but it seemed like to me she was.  Could I possible catch what she had? The only reason I'm asking is because I was very ill last year for almost 2 months with 2 trips to the hospital so I'm sometimes a little anxious when I go out.

You can catch a cold virus any time you go anywhere.  Since she was sick, I'd gather that the family was extra careful as I am when I have a sick kid.  I wipe stuff down that is commomly used.  15 minutes in a house with a child with a cold is probably not a high alert moment.  lol  A day care center?  Put on a mask.  But I swear, the two times I've been sick recently was from trips to stores where I forgot to use wipes on the handle of the cart.  Wash your hands frequently and always hope for the best.  good luck
