Vericose vein or bruise

Is it normal to get bruise like spots when you have vericose veins? I am 26 yo female, 8 weeks postpartum from my third baby. My veins have gotten so bad since this last pregnancy. Over the last few days, I have noticed small blue spots under my skin in my legs. There is one on the top of my foot. It sort of looks like a bruise... it’s blue in color... never turns red or yellow. About the size of a dime. They don’t hurt. I have four of the spots... one has gotten lighter in color and seems like it may go away.
I’m concerned my veins are getting worse or I have some other bad medical condition causing this. I really can’t tell if it’s a vein or a bruise. I know you can’t tell over the internet but I’d like to hear from people with vericose veins.

Hello, while it has been some time since you asked your question, I thought I'd try to provide some information for reference for others.  Any time post pregnancy, vein issues should be examined.  Were you able to see your doctor about this?  Here is a symptom checker that may really help in these situations.  https://symptomchecker.webmd.com/multiple-symptoms?symptoms=bruising-or-discoloration%7Cbulging-veins%7Cpain-or-discomfort%7Ctenderness-to-touch&symptomids=45%7C47%7C1%7C266&locations=58%7C58%7C58%7C58
Please let us know what the outcome to your situation was.
