What should I do just wait to get ultrasound?

Hello, I am a 27 year old female. I have been having abnormal periods for me to have. I started noticing them January or February. I don’t normally have spotting a couple days before I start my period but I have know started to notice this and starting at that time until I stop my actual flow it is at least 11 days each month. I count the first time I get spotting because from then on it feels like my period is trying to start. I normally get craps for up to a hour on normal Period and they only happen for about 2 days, but lately I have been have aches and pains the whole time I have my period. I also get really hot, nauseous, headaches all day, my upper legs ache the most, and my right side get these sharp pain as well. Oh, one more thing I have been suddenly getting really tired, aching all over, and feeling almost like I am getting a fever.

I went to an OBGYN to day and they said that they think it may just be a hormone inbalance. They asked for blood to check my hormone and asked me to come back next Thursday to get a pelvic ultrasound. This same day I started feeling like I was almost coming down with the flu again because I just got really tired and ache all over a couple hours after I got home.

Hopefully, the ultrasound will give you answers. Maybe they can do it before Thursday?

I really don’t know what to do. I was in pain all day today. I want to go go the doctor but am afraid that it maybe just be a pulled muscle that rapped around to my stomach, but I had that once and it hurt pushing on it. But with this it doesn’t hurt pushing on it. It will hurt if I dubble or hunch over in a seat. Also my other pains that I already said.

It could be a hormone issue - ovarian, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal. If your symptoms continue, an endocrine workup may be a good idea. Good luck getting answers.

Would that narrow any of those down if I say that my lower right abdominal and back have been giving me pain all day today?
Oh and the day before yesterday I went to a ear, nose, and throat doctor and they stated that my glands in my neck didn’t feel abnormal.
