Hi is theres a chance to do medication than a surgery a 6.5m cyst?

My cyst was 7.9x7.4x6.5cm I did an MRI and this is the result (right adnexal(ovarian) pelviabdominal cystic lesion with solid enhancing component, possibility of ovarian cyst adenocarcinoma has to be considered.) I feel so afraid when I found out,, is it best decision to agree a surgery for my case,,? I go to oncologist and he told me the there is no pressure to my body and its good thing,, now I will meet an gynecology to tell what best thing to do.. In god's name everything will be fine.

Most ovarian cysts are benign (non-cancerous) regardless of their size. Most go away on their own; however, yours is on the large size so will likely require surgical removal. And regardless of size, suspicious looking ones need to be investigated which usually means surgery.

I'm not sure I understand oncologist's recommendation. If the cyst is benign as determined from frozen section biopsy while you are in the opresting room you shouldn't need to lose your ovary or any other female organs.

I hope this helps.
