Prenatal dna test

Please help! 5 years ago I was told I could be the father of a child, she also told me it could also be someone else. She asked if I would pay for a prenatal test. I researched this and told her that I have been through 2 miscarriages with my ex wife and do not want to take part in anything which could bring harm to an unborn child.

She had the test with the other guy and it proved to be his. I’ve seen the lab report today which states this. The reason I asked her to show me was because her baby is the spitting image of my niece!

The company was ultrasound clinic london and the lab was TDL.

Can the results be wrong???

Did she, the dad, and the baby all go in to the lab and get swabbed? Or was this a pre-natal test?

Sorry, I was so focused on the part about you thinking the test would be too invasive that I missed the big clue in your title. They did, I take it, get a prenatal test done. Did they also then get one done after the baby was born? Usually the courts would require that in order to make a legal determination of paternity. (Prenatal tests are too new to be used for this important purpose.)
I guess that also I should ask you, was it done by an invasive procedure such as CVS? If so, it should be accurate. If it was done by sorting the DNA from a blood sample of the mother, then it would all depend on how good the lab is. But it looks as though the lab you mentioned seems to do prenatal testing only when the CVS procedure is done. Do you know what kind of test she had?
