Bleeding after Hystescopy & D&C to Remove Cervical Polyp

I had a hysterscopy and D&C on April 27th to remove a cervical polyp. Biopsy was fine. My doctor said expect some bleeding for usually a few days but it could last a couple weeks. Well here I am 6 weeks later and I am STILL bleeding. The polyp caused bleeding before we knew that was the issue, and now I've been bleeding for 2 months. It stopped for about 5 days 2 weeks after the procedure and then started again and it's been going ever since. I'm supposed to call my doctor back Monday and let him know if I'm still bleeding. I was only able to speak to his nurse but she said that it can be normal but they don't see it often. I have my yearly check up in two weeks, so they told me they'd address it then. But I am just SO tired of it. And i'm getting concerned. Has anyone else still been bleeding 6 weeks after their procedure? It's like a very light period, but it's still enough to have to wear a tampon or liner and definitely enough to annoy the crap out of me!

I have had two polyps removed, no bleeding or perhaps minimal spotting afterward, that was it.  If I were you I'd insist on getting in to see your doctor as soon as possible.  If you are losing a lot of blood, get to the ER.
